Rudy's BBQ "Sause" Ribs

There are many things that I miss about Texas and I must say sorry North Carolina... Texas BBQ is much better. Luckily, The Mother-in-Law mailed us a massive bottle of "Rudy's BBQ sause."  The Husband likes to pronounce this as "sowse," but I wouldn't know... I ain't Texan.

Ingredients:
1 rack of pork Baby Back Ribs
Salt and pepper
BBQ sauce of your choice

Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees. Set rack of ribs outside of fridge to room temperature.

2. Rub with salt and pepper and baste on wet "sause" on both sides of the rack.

3. Place in a long rectangular sheet of foil on top of the baking sheet. Fold up sides of foil to create a tent with an airtight pocket and leave one end open.  You don't want to wrap the foil tightly around the rack of ribs.

4. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the open end of the foil pocket. Then fold up the open end of the foil to seal the airtight pocket.

5. Bake for 3 hours.

6. Once the 3 hours are up, take out the ribs and switch the oven to broil. Baste on another layer of wet "sause" and put under broiler to develop color and caramelization on the ribs. Repeat once more to get the color that you desire.

Fall off the bone goodness... perfect for an upcoming Super Bowl party!

Have a great weekend!
